In order to be able to comply with the requirements for quick, effective and inexpensive freight forwarding, which our clients are requesting, we offer transparency of the services offered as part of the European logistics network.
We do that by implementing a unified portfolio of services offered by all IFA member companies.
It has clear goals set for ensuring the desired quality level as well as the quality control, as well as informing the clients of our member companies about the condition of their goods and loads during the international freight services.
Objectives of the International Forwarding Association
- The partners in our network of freight forwarders have a common objective for offering a wide range of freight forwarding services to our clients, which comply to our objectives set for the quality, safety and reliability of the freight forwarding services. These objectives ensure our strong competitiveness in regard to the other European international freight forwarders.
- Another main objective of ours is to ensure full control over the interaction between all the departments and elements in our European network for logistics.
- Our main objective is to implement all of our objectives in ensuring the competitiveness of the clients of our member companies.
The focus of the freight forwarding services offered by the IFA member companies
- The specific transit times, with confirmation of the deliveries at short notice within Europe
- Meeting the delivery time (on-time delivery) which ensures an optimal product flow
- Meeting the quality requirements of the freight forwarding services in the cases in which the delivery time is not the leading factor
Interaction – the main characteristic which distinguishes the member companies in our network
The partners in our European network for logistics services are independent, middle-sized freight forwarding companies. The interactions between them are the basis of the success of the International Forwarding Association as a whole.
All of our partners have experience in forwarding with certain types of transportation. This allows for the opportunity for combining parts of the routes of the forwarding with different types of transportation, in order to ensure the best, fastest and most financially-efficient service for each forwarding order.

For the member companies of IFA, transparency of the information is an important prerequisite for them to highlight their strengths in the freight forwarding services: quality and reliability, wide variety of services and systematic offering of the most effective services for the clients.

Apart from our current goals for ensuring freight forwarding in Europe at a most modern level, we have set our goals for our future development:
- Further development of the partnerships between our member companies as forwarders throughout Europe
- Improving the processes included in our freight forwarding services
- Reaching an even better developed European network for logistics services, with at least one IFA partner in each European country
In order to achieve our goals, we are continually looking towards adding new partners in the freight forwarding and transportation sector within Europe to our Association.
